Because dilation can temporarily cause blurry vision and light sensitivity, consider bringing sunglasses and arranging a ride if you’re concerned about driving afterward. Wide-angle retinal imaging may also be available as an alternative in some cases.

Yes. If you need new glasses, our optical team can help you select frames and lens options after your exam. Our doctor can also provide contact lens evaluations, including specialty contact lenses. Trial lenses may be available the same day depending on your prescription and lens type.
