Comprehensive Eye Exams
Your eyes will be given the royal treatment! We will check or correct your vision if necessary with a refraction, check your eye muscles, your focusing, depth perception, examine your pupils for basic neurological functioning, check your visual field, provide color vision testing, determine the shape of your eye, and assess the health of the front and back of your eye. You will also have a glaucoma test performed on each eye and a cataract evaluation. Should you need eye glasses, we can offer you a wide variety of options in our office.

We want to know your concerns and your needs, and we are always happy to hear your opinions and feedback. At Valley Eye Associates, it is our goal to meet and exceed your visual expectations.

Contact Lens Examinations
The contact lens examination is an addition to your annual routine eye exam. We recommend all of our contact lens wearers to have yearly routine and contact lens examinations to ensure that your eyes are staying healthy, that the contact lens is fitting properly, and that your vision is exactly where it needs to be. Once your prescription is determined, we will offer you specific suggestions to give you the best vision achievable in contact lenses. Together, we will determine your objectives for using contact lenses, and educate you on the newest lens materials, in order to fit you with the lens that is best suited for your eye. Since each eye is unique, we have a variety of contact lens options available in our office to best suit your needs. Whether its your first contact lens experience, or even if you've been successfully enjoying your contacts for years, we can provide you with the right fit.

We fit all contact lenses, from hard to soft, aspheric, toric (astigmatic), and mulitfocals. We know time is important to you, and we have contact lenses to fit all of your scheduling needs from daily replacement, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and extended wear lenses.

We fit contacts for dry eye patients, sports enhancement needs, as well as specialty contact lenses for keratoconus and other corneal diseases.

Glaucoma Testing
If we suspect you might have glaucoma, or if you are at risk of developing glaucoma because of a family history of this eye disease, we will provide you with important tests to determine the best treatment. We can also determine if no treatment is needed. We will closely examine the pressure in your eye with the latest method! Your eye pressure will be evaluated, the thickness of your corneas will be assessed, and the quality of your visual field will all be tested. The health of your retina will be monitored for changes in the optic nerve and/or the surrounding areas called the nerve fiber layer. If needed, further testing can be performed with one of our affiliate glaucoma specialists.

Dry Eye
Many men and women will mention at some point in their lives that their eyes feel dry. We will assess the dryness of your eyes and if needed, we will provide suggestions for comprehensive dry eye management and treatment. This can include using prescription or over-the-counter eye drops or gels for more lubrication, or adding nutritional supplements to your diet. Even some foods can assist in the maintenance of moisturizing your eyes! There are also tiny plugs that can be inserted into the corners of your eyes to help you retain more mositure on the surface of your eye. No matter what your dry eye need, we can make a difference!

Red Eyes
If you have allergies or an infection or even an inflammation; our doctors are certified and trained to the highest New Jersey and National standards to provide you with the most up to date treatments that you may need in order to cure the problem.

Eye Surgeries (LASIK, PRK, Cataracts, Refractive Implants, Accommodating Implants, Pterygium, and Strabismus)
No matter what surgeries you may require, we can evaluate your eyes, answer your questions and concerns about the procedure, provide you with professional opinions, refer you to top surgeons and specialists, and also provide you with pre and post-operative care. Should you desire or need an eye surgery, we can carefully monitor your progress to personally ensure your success.
