Glaucoma Testing

Glaucoma, often called the 'silent thief of sight' shows no warning signs or pain until the disease is at an advanced stage and noticeable vision loss occurs. Therefore, it is important to have routine eye exams to rule out early signs of glaucoma and protect your vision.

If we suspect you might have glaucoma, or if you are at risk of developing glaucoma because of a family history of this eye disease, we will provide you with important tests to determine the best treatment. We can also determine if no treatment is needed.

We will closely examine the pressure in your eye with the latest method! Your eye pressure will be evaluated, the thickness of your corneas will be assessed, and the quality of your visual field will all be tested. The health of your retina will be monitored for changes in the optic nerve and/or the surrounding areas called the nerve fiber layer. If needed, further testing can be performed with one of our affiliate glaucoma specialists.
